Delivery Driver

Location: Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland

We require a full time delivery driver for our factory on the outskirts of Newry, Co. Down.

Job brief

We are looking for a responsible delivery driver to distribute products promptly to our customers in North and Southern Ireland . You will represent our company in a professional and cost effective manner aiming at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction. Depending on area, this will involve early starts. Southern runs 3am approx

Responsibilities

· Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes

· Follow route and time schedule

· Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle

· Complete logs and reports

· Follow company regulations and safety standards

Essential Criteria:

· Ability to work as part of a team to achieve set targets

· Good knowledge of Health and Safety in a factory setting

· Own Transport as factory is located in a rural setting

· Must be fully flexible to work hours determined by business needs

· Proven working experience as a delivery driver

· Valid driver’s licence

· Over 25

· Excellent organisational and time management skills

· Must have good level of written and spoken English

Occasional Saturday on rota basis

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
