Floortec Ltd, based in Tamworth, Staffordshire are looking for reliable individual with excellent attention to detail who is looking to gain experience within our expanding commercial flooring firm.

The salaries above are based on experience that you have and will increase as we train you and you become a valuable part of the team!

Initially the role will be to shadow our existing Manager with a view to working up to a Contracts Manager position, salary will increase with experience.

The ideal candidate needs to be hard-working and have a can-do approach to do the range of tasks they are faced with and keen to progress.

Responsibilities will include:

- Working closely with our Management Team from learning the business to assisting with general office requirements.

- Assist Managing Director with administration requirements.

- Responding to client queries via phone or email.

- Compiling documents for preparation of quotations

- Creation and return of all quotations within specified time to client

- Carry out pre-site surveys (initially shadowing existing Manager)

- Assist in ordering materials for projects, liaising with suppliers.

- Organise and programming labour for floor fitters

- Produce job tickets on daily basis for fitters

- Produce RAMS and Health and Safety documents for projects

- Overseeing that projects run smoothly and to programme.

- Provide O&M documentation to client on completion of works.

Requirements

Experience within the flooring industry would be beneficial but not essential

Full UK Driving Licence

Experience of Word, Excel packages, general computer skills

Able to multi task and be very organised

Strong numerical skills and attention to detail

Maintain good relationships with current and prospective clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
