General Fitter (Blackburn)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Anord Mardix are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world’s largest companies.

As part of our companies continued growth and expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen at our Blackburn site for a General Fitter.

Key Roles and Responsibilities may include:

• Assembly and packing of tx housings
• Fitting inner frames
• Fitting doors
• Fitting Gland plates, Panel Roof Cowl Vents and earth bars
• Pealing and prepping lexan assembly parts
• Understanding GAs and panel layout
• Processing plinth covers and associated fixings
• Packing of panel joining kits and associated fixings
• Assisting the Mechanical/Electrical fitters where required
• Carrying out ancillary duties for production management where required
• Cleaning and wrapping product ready for dispatch
• General house keeping
