Kennel Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Flatt Farm Boarding Kennels is looking for enthusiastic self employed dog lover to join our team qualified in level 2 or 3 in animal management.

The job involves all aspects of kennel work, walking the dogs cleaning of kennels feeding meeting and greeting clients, working closely with the owner to maintain animals welfare and generally loving our furry guests .

Applicants must be willing and able to work alone when required and be responsible to open and close the premises.

Hours required depend on amount of guests we have but generally are split shift of 8am to 11am and 3pm to 6pm 3 out of 7 including weekendd (Days to be discussed)

Hourly rate is dependant on experienced would be agreed at interview.

Operational training will be provided but applicant must have minimum of level 2 in animal care/management and or gained or working towards level 3.

Applicant must be able to drive to Flatt Farm and be over 18 year old for insurance purposes

Uniform brews and biscuits are provided in a fun and friendly atmosphere

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
