Security Control Room Operator

Here's a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Control Room Operator to join the friendly team at First Response Group.

Yorkshire water AMC – Weston House Bradford BD6 2SZ 48 Hours per week (4 days per week) need to have flexibility to cover additional shifts on nights.

Preferable start date would be between 25th April and 29th April

Applicant must have CCTV and front line SIA

Shift Details:

• 12 Hour shifts.
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
• Days or nights.
• £11.50 per hour.

Key responsibilities of the Control Room Operator include:

The main objectives of the role are;

• Gatehouse duties
• Conducting site patrols, including car park monitoring, perimeter checks
• Responding to any potential incidents on site
• Locking and unlocking of buildings
• Alarm handling – Such as intruder alarms, fire alarms, tamper alarms etc.
• Booking on contractors – This will endure un-setting and re-setting intruder alarms.
• CCTV Operation – Monitoring and using playback/download etc.
• Operating PAC – Which is our access card control system.
• Commend - This is our intercom system.
• Incident/Log reporting¬ – All incidents and logs are inputted into our electronic logging system.
• Dealing with Escalations – This could mean anything from speaking to operational staff right up to site/area management.

You will have to be computer literate to apply as the role consists of using windows applications such as office/excel etc.

Additional Information:

Must be able to work on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern on both days and nights.

Essential Skills:

• Must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Must have a valid CCTV Operators Licence.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• High levels of written and verbal communication skills.
