Wilton Security Mobile Patrol

To protect the company and its assets from theft, criminal damage other types of crime by conducting physical security patrols across the site, as well reacting to both security and emergency incidents. Patrols in a vehicle ensuring the security of high value assets at dedicated locations.

This is a fixed term security mobile patrol role on a temporary assignment, with a expectancy to run until Dec 2023.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Conduct physical security patrols by both foot and by vehicle.

• Secure buildings and other company assets across the site.

• Carry out crime prevention activities such as routine vehicle searches and perimeter fence line patrols.

• Attend reported crimes and investigate accordingly, taking guidance and direction for the security team leader.

• Conduct security gatehouse duties, controlling traffic and personnel entering and leaving site.

• Perform road safety duties including speed monitoring and vehicle inspections.

• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons, or unusual occurrences.

• Escort the emergency services (fire, ambulance and police) to emergency incidents on site.

• Attend and investigate security intruder and access control alarm activations.

Role Requirements:

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Full UK Driving License
• Valid SIA license
• Required to pass a pre-employment health check
• Required to go through a go through vetting process via external third party company inc full comprehensive 5-year work/education history; including full company names, addresses and landline contact numbers
• Excellent communication and administration skills.
• Reliable with excellent time-management skills.
• Available to travel to multiple sites.
• High level of customer care.
• Security systems knowledge.
• Telephone/switchboard skills.
• First Aid training would be an advantage.
• IT literacy would be an advantage.

Further Details of the Role:

• Night shift and weekend day shifts (12 hours)
• Nights 6 x 6
• Weekend Days Only 6 x 6
• Hourly Rate of £10.84
• Fixed Term contract until Dec 23, with opportunity for relief contract following end of fixed term contract.
