Role Overview & Responsibilities

Your main responsibility as a Data Analyst / Data Product Owner is to work with a team of data engineers and reporting developers to identify, scope, and deliver data extracts, reports, and dashboards to meet the needs of Enra Specialist Finance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify the data needs of the organisation.
  • Break down initiatives into data artifacts that will be delivered and supported by the data team.
  • Define and scope new extracts, reports, and dashboards, including enhancements and fixes for existing artifacts.
  • Facilitate prioritisation of changes in reporting team backlog.
  • Write ticket level specifications with corresponding testing criteria.
  • Perform a review and sign-off of completed changes.
  • Foster an environment of openness, transparency and fairness in decision making both within the Technology domain and across stakeholder groups.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data / reporting documentation where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the data team’s capabilities, processes, and ways of working with the wider business.
  • Identify, escalate, and manage risks.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong commercial focus with the ability to assess the value of changes to be delivered.
  • Experience in financial services environment, preferably credit lending.
  • Experience working in collaborative Agile (Scrum / Kanban) environment.
  • Extensive experience in data / reporting requirements analysis and definition.
  • Experience working with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with Amazon QuickSight and/or Redshift an advantage.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • 4+ year experience in a relevant role (e.g. data analyst, data product owner, reporting product owner).
  • Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant competency.
