NHS - Clinical Audiologist - Based in Warwick UK

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Do you have experience in the NHS as an Audiologist? Then we may have the role for you!

Must be based in the Warwick area as travel will be required to an office based in Warwick.

• Assessment hearing of adult patients referred under the NHS pathway or on private basis from Primary Care
• Fitting of the latest NHS and private digital hearing aids for adults using REM where appropriate
• Plan aural rehabilitation programmes for hearing impaired adults
• ENT cover
• Tympanometry
• Ear syringing and microsuction
• Ensure own personal and continual development
• Manage assessment, fitting, follow up and aftercare services as appropriate
• Work alongside colleagues and senior personnel in a cooperative manner at all times Be responsible for the provision of the service across various CCG’s in line with national guidance
• Utilise the patient management system to record all clinical activity
• Liaise with Quality Assurance to deal with complaints
• The NHS service is provided from general practice. In some cases, Industrial Diagnostics has no control over the choice or design of the facility provided
• Ensure the locations you work in are clean and fit for purpose
• Ensure locations remain fit for purpose reporting any non conformities to head office

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
