Role Overview & Responsibilities

Company description

United behind our mission to reinvent the piano for those that don't play, and make it better for those that do, we are a UK designer and manufacturer, creating some of the finest musical art pieces and designer pianos available in the luxury market today.

What we are looking for:

Someone to join our team who:

- Is passionate about music, art and design, ideally play an instrument with an ear for pitch.

- Love to work as a team, someone to whom team success is greater than individual success

- Is honest, straight-talking and always gives 100% to everything they do

- Understands that we're not perfect but we're a great group of people working together to create unique pianos together, and we'll always have your back.

- Is creative but loves the consistency of regular piano work that results in a beautiful piano sound being created, the sound that Edelweiss is becoming known for.

Job description

This role is specifically to work under our Lead Sound Technician, learning from their skill to assist in action assembly, stringing, voicing, regulating, tuning and other workshop tasks as required whilst the role develops.

A musical ear along with the desire to work with your hands in a manufacturing environment, is the main ingredient to success. The skills will be trained. This could suit someone who has just finished an education course and wants to develop in the world of music or someone that has been trained as a piano tuner but would like to develop further as an overall technician. Otherwise a background in music recording with a passion for practical work in a musical environment could also help ensure success in the role.

Apply to this post if you keen to join our small, fast growing company and ready to grow with us as we continue our journey in becoming a global brand.
