Role Overview & Responsibilities
Grade: Band 4
Hours: 37.5 hour per week (1.0 WTE)
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and professional secretary to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to one of our multidisciplinary teams at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, York House in Newham. Newham CAMHS is a large clinic spread across 2 NHS and some community sites, where doctors, nurses and therapists work with children, young people and their families/carers.
We are looking for someone to manage the team’s administrative systems, liaise with colleagues within and outside of the service, book appointments, upload documents, take minutes and support the team to manage referral and assessment documentation and record and monitor clinical outcome measures. There will also be opportunities to use your technical skills to help facilitate interactive virtual events for the local community and our partner organisations to ensure true co-production of the service as it develops.
The post would suit a self-motivated individual with excellent organisational, communication, secretarial and time management skills, who would like to join a friendly, supportive team.
Experience of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel and a typing speed of 45wpm is essential and you will need to be able to work well under pressure.
