The role

We are currently looking to recruit Cleaners (known as “Night Hygiene Workers”) to assist in the hygiene of the production facility. Duties include:

• Using high pressure washer systems;
• Using chemicals;
• General clean down of meat preparation area and the equipment;
• Being involved in dirty wet work (P.P.E provided);
• This is a physically demanding job with manual handling require.

The person

The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning within a factory environment together with handling chemicals, however full training be offered.

The successful candidate will have;

• a good attendance and punctuality record, and is reliable and hard-working;
• a positive and proactive attitude;
• an ability to cope well under pressure, working well to strict deadlines;
• a keen eye for detail;
• an ability to work autonomously while also being part of a team.

Ideally but not essential, you’d have;

• Experience in using high pressure washer systems;
• Experience in using chemicals.

Candidates should be flexible, being able to work additional hours if and when required.
