Ideally own a medium/long wheel based white van or be in a position to buy one.

DPD are a dynamic and expanding business in the rapidly growing parcel delivery sector.

As one of our delivery and collection drivers you’ll enjoy plenty of variety in an active and customer facing role. You’ll become a member of a supportive team that works together to create an unbeatable service. You’ll be responsible for delivering and collecting goods efficiently, on time and ensuring our service remains industry leading.

Specifically this will involve,

• Sorting and preparing an efficient delivery route
• Loading, unloading, and operating a van
• Locating and driving to various addresses
• Delivering and collecting parcels with the use of a barcode scanner
• Cleaning delivery vehicles and maintaining records

As an experienced self employed delivery and collection driver, you must

• Hold a valid driving licence
• Be able to pay close attention to detail and follow set procedures
• Present yourself in a calm and professional manner to customers and members of the public
• Have good time management skills and meet delivery deadlines

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 07:00 until job finish (approx 18:00). Available to work Saturday if required.

Salary: £145 to £160 per day
