Poultry Farm Worker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a family run business with a small team of employees, the role provides a fantastic opportunity to help the business progress.

• Monitoring bird welfare
• Daily egg collections
• Daily performance records
• Minor maintenance/estate management
• Keeping high levels of biosecurity
• Working as part of a team
• 43 to 45 hours per week
• Additional overtime is flexible
• 31days holiday.
• One afternoon off midweek.

The candidate should have excellent time keeping skills, full driving license and no contact with poultry outside of work. A positive attitude towards work is essential. Weekend work on a shift rota.

Training and support will be provided and as a growing business there will be chance of progression over time. Although previous poultry work is not essential, some agricultural experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
