Role Overview & Responsibilities

DOMENECH DESIGNS LTD is a fast-growing architectural practice that provides homeowners with architectural planning & construction drawings, structural engineering, and party wall services. We are currently doing over 150 projects per year, and we are looking to hire an architectural assistant trainee or intern to help the design team deliver these projects.

Your principal responsibilities will include site surveys, preparing planning feasibility reports, design and access statements, planning submissions, supporting the design team and contributing to the delivery on a variety of residential and commercial schemes. You will be required to do 2D drawings.

Skills & Experience Required:

You will have excellent computer skills including both 2D and 3D software capabilities, AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. You must demonstrate strong technical detailing abilities to produce clear and informative drawings in your portfolio.

You will also be responsible for submitting planning applications. You will be willing to engage in all parts of the design and documentation process, working alongside a small team. You have a proven ability to deliver all aspects of a project, both independently and as part of a team. You must have strong communication skills as you will be dealing with clients, contractors, and the council.

You are required to attend our office in North London and have your own car in order to visit clients around London.
