HYGIENE OPERATIVE

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Direct Seafoods forms part of the Bidfresh/Bidfood Group, which is Britain's largest fresh fish supplier to the catering industry.

This role includes:

• Reporting to the Technical Manager and working within the Hygiene team
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the production areas, including machinery to a high standard
• Responsible for the cleanliness of external areas of the facility to a high standard
• Complying with strict hygiene standards at all times
• Working in chilled and ambient environments

Required skills:

• Previous food warehouse and cleaning experience would be advantageous, preferable in a fresh produce/chilled environment, however not essential as full training will be given
• Good time management, punctual and reliable
• You must be physically fit and healthy as the role requires you to be able to lift objects up to 20 Kilos
• Accurate with good organisational skills
• Demonstrates drive and positive approach to work
• Team player
• Flexible approach
• Accurate record keeping

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00-£20,100.00 per year
