Job description

We are hiring for a Full Stack Developer to work with a leading renewable company dedicated to revolutionising the way the world generates and consumes energy. They specialise in developing innovative and sustainable solutions that empower individuals and businesses to harness the power of solar energy.

As a Full Stack Developer , you will play a pivotal role in their mission by designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications that drive our energy management platform. Currently, the team is made up of five people but they are looking to double this in the next year. They're looking for an engineer with a polyglot mindset who will push their tech to the next level!

Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Location: Hybrid, Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: 70k-100k (DOE)

Key Requirements
  • 4+ years development experience
  • In-depth experience with PHP & JavaScript
  • Knowledge of TypeScript
  • Exposure to frameworks like Laravel (PHP) and Vue.JS or React.JS
  • Experience of AWS

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of end-to-end development processes.
  • Consult on & execute architectural & tech stack improvements.
  • Improve performance in the AWS environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient software solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable software architecture.
  • Frontend Development: Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
  • Backend Development: Build robust and scalable backend systems using server-side technologies.
  • Database Management: Design and optimise database schemas, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Implement comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the software.
