Detection Technologies Ltd is a tech company that manufactures Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS) and Access Control Systems. As an established company in the security sector Detection Technologies’ solutions protect security sensitive sites worldwide. We are delighted to provide the following exciting role:

Security System Electrician (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Carry out site surveys to evaluate the project’s feasibility, cost or maintenance requirements
• Install and commission security systems
• Inspect, service and maintain installed security systems
• Test new/updated products on our internal test site and provide feedback to R&D
• Support the production team with product assembly

Approximately 70% of your time will be spent in-house and 30% travelling.

Requirements

• 1-3 years' experience as an Electrician or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and schematics
• An understanding of TCP/IP networks
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities (proficient with test meters or similar tools)
• Driving license (Category B) and willingness to travel

Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
