Trainee Accountant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a small and friendly firm of chartered accountants and registered auditors in Golders Green, London, with a broad client base. The atmosphere in our newly decorated and comfortable office is professional but informal.

We are seeking graduates with knowledge of double entry bookkeeping for an ACA/ACCA training contract, with study support for professional exams. In the first year of the training contract, we will train you to prepare accounts for small businesses using Quickbooks, Xero, Sage and Iris software. You will assist on audits, carry out company secretarial work and learn to prepare tax returns and tax computations.

You will build on this knowledge over the course of the contract to become a well-rounded general practitioner.

We are interested in hearing from applicants with no experience, as well as those who are part-qualified. Our salaries are highly competitive, and will depend on experience.

Candidates should be confident, articulate, well-organised, numerate and able to communicate clearly and concisely in person, on the phone and in writing.
