Role Overview & Responsibilities

Food preparation / Factory Assistant – Davin Foods

Location: Barking, London

Salary: £10.50 – £12.50 per hour

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 6 (Sunday - Friday)

Hours of Work: Between 40 hours or 48 hours per week:

Start time: 09:00am

Davin Foods are looking for at least 2 people with experience of preparing fresh fruit and vegetables to a high standard.

Ideally you will have proven experience within a similar role or catering background.

You will need to be dextrous in preparing fresh fruit & vegetables to our customers specifications this includes battening, segmenting and dicing.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Preparing a range of fresh fruit and vegetables using peelers and knives, including root veg and salads
• Be efficient in a variety of cutting techniques including slice, dice, turn, brunoise, julienne
• Assist in bagging and Packing
• Working in a fast pace in environment
• Strong accuracy required
• attention to detail
• Following Health and Safety ad also good hygiene regulations
