Role Overview & Responsibilities

Introduction

Our client is thriving in the procurement and commercial industry now!

They are looking for candidates who want to progress their career within a consultancy environment. As this is a progression role, you need to want to develop your career and have the drive to achieve this!

All candidates must be undergoing or hold a CIPS qualification. Be eligible for a SC security clearance – Hold a British nationality for 5+ years. And be willing to travel to clients and customers when required.

  • Pharmaceuticals and mining

The individual will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team delivering best-in-class strategic procurement and contract advice, including end-to-end procurement services to one of our client’s key account clients.

Key responsibilities
  • Aid with Contract development/management
  • Provide clients and customers with procurement strategy advice.
  • To manage end to end procurement services.
  • To support business development and marketing.
  • Aid on hitting and achieve set targets and goals.
  • To support on bid preparation and proposal documentation.
Skills & experience
  • Contract Management.
  • Public Procurement.
  • Supply chain intelligence and market engagement.
  • Contract development.
  • Commercial modelling.
  • Supplier relationship management.
  • Must have the ability to develop key strategy.
  • A background in tender preparation, management and evaluation.
  • Experience using e-procurement software.
  • Major projects experience; over £50m.
  • Preferably possess degree related to quantity surveying, law or procurement and/or be MCIPS.
