Property Maintenance Handyman/Woman

Role Overview & Responsibilities

• Make-good to settlement cracks/caulking/sealant and painting.
• Carry out Void maintenance and completing reports (Training will be given)
• Completing minor plumbing repairs such as fixing dripping taps or running toilet cisterns.
• Installing household appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers.
• Installing smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
• Fitting / Replacing damaged Kitchen units.
• Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping.
• Window Cleaning, Gardening.
• job role will include the specified responsibilities, but not limited to these.

Any other duties that are deemed appropriate to the post.

The responsibilities of this post may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the post or level of responsibility entailed.

Provide an efficient, responsive, and quality void management service to all tenants, residents, leaseholders, and developers

Ensure you comply with all aspects of health and safety, as laid down in the Core company guidelines.

Ensure all voids are inspected following Core procedures.

• Experience within a maintenance environment.
• All relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience of working with contractors and repairs
• Awareness of confidentiality
• Awareness of Health and Safety legislation
• Awareness of Property Certification Requirements
• Awareness of dealing with Housing legislation
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
• Plans and prioritises effectively. Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to use Information Technology to self-administer and for effective communication

Must have a minimum of 7 years driving experience.

Will need to have a valid DBS check.

Must pass a drug and alcohol test on the day of the interview.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £120.00 per day

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus scheme
• Performance bonus

Experience:

• handyman working: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• driving licence and over 25 years old (required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (preferred)
