Job Title: Trainee Engineer

Reporting to: Operations Manager (Projects and Support)

Responsibilities and

Objectives

• At the end of the apprentice scheme the candidate will be expected to have the following

Responsibilities: * Aviation Projects: Assistance with planning and implementation of projects.Project build (HW and SW), documentation, test, installation/commissioning.Customer Training.Writing of and conducting Factory and Site Acceptance Test (FAT/SAT) procedures related to systems production.Delivery of work within project time scales.Support: *__

Customer Support.
Problem identification, raising IR’s and management of problem up to resolution.
Progress customer faults that require investigation by software engineer.

Sales:
Provision of sales support and costing information.
Liaise and develop successful customer/Copperchase relationships.
Maintain long term customer relationships.

Objectives:
To become fully conversant with the Copperchase Systems Product range.
To be able to provide out-of-hours support.
To achieve Microsoft Certification in one of their ‘current’ Operating systems.

Major Duties

Data Systems Projects.
Customer Support.
Build, installation and commissioning of Copperchase products.
Additional support to Copperchase ATC Engineering when required.
Assistance to Sales.

Required Experience

Knowledge of and Interest in electronics, aviation and computer based systems.
GCSE’s in Maths, Physics (or a science subject) D&T (or similar) English – minimum grade 4 or above. (6 preferred) knowledge of Windows systems and applications.
Good telephone manner with diagnostic abilities for support.
Ability to work as part of a team or alone.
Smart appearance, able to communicate well with customers and willingness to travel in the UK and overseas.

Salary: £10,068.06-£25,164.85 per year
