Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a carer to join our team. We currently have a placement available in Coventry, CV5, supporting a male client in his own home. Male preferred. The role will involve 12 hour day shifts, 7 days a week (8am-8pm). This will be alternated between yourself and a 2nd carer.

This is due to start in the next 2 weeks

Your role as a Carer will include staying with the client in his own home and assisting him with the following:

- Providing personal care eg. washing, dressing, toileting, showering etc

- Ensure house is kept tidy and clean

- Assist with meals and drinks preparation

- Supervise with medication

- Assist with transfer wheelchair to/from bed with the use of standing hoist

-Driving a mobility car to take the client out (therefore, holding a driver license is essential)

-Providing companionship

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.50 per hour
