Welder/Fabricator

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently looking for several Welder/Fabricators to work in the Plymouth area to support the Workshop Management Team in maintaining a professional level of productivity by working efficiently as part of a team to ensure that client expectations are consistently met.

• Fabricate and weld components within tolerances given and to the company's quality standard.
• Communicate concisely with all parties associated with the task, including Design Engineers, Production Engineers, Project Managers and Workshop Management to ensure the requirements of the task are being met successfully.
• Complete all tasks assigned and to the tolerances and specifications given by design or senior instruction and within the workshop quality requirements
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of the fabrication and welding craft of appropriate new and existing drilling equipment and ancillary plant, propose practical solutions in a wide variety of situations
• Hold the appropriate welder coding standards and maintain standards to the highest possible standards

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £22.00-£24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift

Experience:

• Fabrication: 5 years (preferred)
