Finance Officer

We are currently seeking 2x Finance Officers to join our team.

We have one permanent, full time position available and another position that is a Part-Time, Fixed Term Contract of 22.5 Hours per week, initially for 6 months.

The main purpose of this role is to support on a variety of financial processes that contribute to the production of associated financial management information, supporting the team to deliver an exceptional financial reporting service. This is a trainee role, and we actively support study to obtain a professional accountancy qualification.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Supporting with budget setting, budget monitoring and providing financial advice to budget holders

Supporting the delivery of quality reporting service to the company

Supporting the production of monthly management accounts for specified areas of the company

Providing supporting evidence to external auditors

Producing reconciliation accounts to prime records

This is a varied role where there will be an opportunity to study towards a professional accountancy qualification and gain experience of undertaking a wide variety of financial and accountancy related tasks within a technical finance team.
