Ambulance Station Manager - Audenshaw, Tameside

We are hiring!

Ambulnz Community Partners are looking for a motivated leader to join our operations team in the role of Station Manager. Salary up to £35k DOE plus benefits.

Job Remit:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Station Manager for our prestige site in the Tameside area of Manchester.

Reporting into the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all site based operational activities including:

  • Staff mentoring and management – This includes grievance procedures and absence reports
  • Scheduling shift deployment rotas using modern mobile apps
  • Planned and reactive fleet (ambulance vehicles) maintenance
  • Ensuring clinical compliance is adhered to
  • Maintain healthy and professional relationships with various trust managers and other key stakeholders within Ambulnz
  • Ensuring your customers are given a first-class service at all times
  • Management and completion of regional station audits

Ambulnz operates on a truly national and international basis. The healthcare sector operates 7 days and nights a week and our crews are rostered on rotating shifts 4 on 4 off shifts so flexibility is required. You can expect to be working in a busy, professional and vibrant environment.

About you:

  • You will have gained solid experience gained within a relative industry – Independent ambulance/ mobile healthcare provider
  • Can demonstrate proven people leadership, you lead from the front
  • An understanding of medical devices and equipment
  • Systems experience including MS Office and mobile apps
  • Flexible attitude to working patterns and to understand that the ambulance industry truly operates 24/7 – 365 days a year
  • Have managed staff deployment and shift adjustments
  • Industry Knowledge including CQC exposure and their expectations of service

Salary up too £35,000 per annum plus KPI bonus scheme, 5.6 weeks annual leave, company pension, access to Blue light discount
