Moving Light Prep Tech

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Colour Sound Experiment Ltd provides lighting and video rental, design and installation for special events, launches, festivals, tours & conferences. We currently have a vacancy for a Moving Light Prep Tech to join us in our North London HQ.

Working Hours: 09:00 - 18:00, Monday-Friday with occasional evenings or weekends required

Salary: £25,000-30,000 per annum, plus overtime pro rata (salary negotiable for the right candidate)

Holidays: 28 days per year including bank holidays

Responsibilities:

• To clean, prepare & maintain lighting equipment for hire
• Assist with minor and routine repairs
• Physically inspect equipment for damage upon return from use in the field
• To assist with truck loading/unloading
• To clean & prepare flight cases
• Ensure that work areas are kept clean & clear
• Assist others with ad-hoc tasks, as directed by Head of Moving Lights

The successful applicant will:

• Work to a high standard with regards to quality control
• Be flexible in their approach to the work schedule
• Be a fast learner
• Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
• Be detail oriented and methodical regarding quality control procedures
• Be proactive with excellent attention to detail
• Be able to maintain a neat and orderly work area

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
