Bakery Assistant/Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a small family bakery based in Easingwold, North Yorkshire 15 miles north of York, who are looking for a reliable and willing person to join our current bakery team as Bakery assistant/driver - Monday to Saturday, 6am to 12.30am approx. Extra hours covering holidays/sickness.

This roll involves helping to wrap and pack customer orders, some basic bakery duties and general clean up. You will need to be reliable and reasonably fit as some lifting is involved.

Driving duties will include order packing, driving and some lifting.

You must be punctual, reliable, flexible, able to work to a deadline and possess a clean driving license. Previous experience of multi- drop deliveries would be desirable but full on the job training will be given.

Availability for extra hours to cover holidays and sickness is required.

Experience in a bakery or other food environment would be an advantage. Training will be given.
