Housekeeper/Cleaner - Nursery

Role Overview & Responsibilities

General House Keeper Duties:

1. To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Nursery are met.

2. To maintain the highest standards of health and safety contributing to making the Nursery a safe and secure environment for all.

3. To ensure that all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained in a safe, clean and efficient working condition

5. To report the need for replacement or repair of materials and equipment.

6. To stock take of cleaning materials, and equipment.

7. To ensure all laundry, sterilising of toys and equipment and other general cleaning duties are carried out in according with the rota.

8. To clean all surfaces of the Nursery, including carpets, lino, floors, paintwork, tiles, windows, wallpaper, window sills etc.

9. To remove all rubbish and put in correct external bins for collection.

10. To support the staff team when necessary by acting as a lunchtime assistant

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.18-£10.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
