Role Overview & Responsibilities
To work with individuals experiencing domestic abuse who are homeless with multiple and complex needs and may not be able to access mainstream refuge. The service will work specifically with those aged 16+ who have protected characteristics (age, disability, BAME, LGBT).Work within the Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation service to provide support to diverse victims of domestic abuse. The service will consist of a number of dispersed properties across Middlesbrough offering temporary, supported safe beds for people experiencing domestic abuse.
We deliver a seamless service of refuge and dispersed accommodation to be able to support as wide a group of people as possible. The service provides support to women, men and non-binary individuals.
To offer intensive and specialist support via outreach work to individuals to improve their quality of life and to deliver an excellent service in line with the organisationβs mission, service goals, values and associated regulations, guidance and legislature.
