Warehouse Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Challenge-trg Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to work within our automotive clients site located in Cwmbran.

Hours of work:

This role is working a 3 shift rotation Monday - Friday. Days - 06:00 - 14:00 , Afternoons - 14:00 - 22:00 and Nights 22:00-06:00 .

Hourly rates:

Days and Afternoons £12.72

Nights £13.60

Responsibilities:

Processing goods inwards transactions on ERP/warehousing data systems (QAD etc.)

Ensuring delivery yard/area remains safe and clean.

Product inspection for default and damage

Liaise with delivery drivers

Check, unload, place and process incoming inventory/deliveries

Ensure shipping pack/documents are accurate and in place for order dispatch

Check, load, and process outgoing orders/dispatches, both physically and electronically

Packing, repacking and kitting of all OES and Aftermarket orders

Liaise with Customer Service, Purchasing/ Logistics and other staff in relation to materials movement and control

Ensure shipping pack/documents are accurate and in place for order dispatch

Ability to print off and complete packing & Aftermarket documentation (work orders, packing lists etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Salary: £12.72-£13.60 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cwmbran: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience (preferred)
