Cleaner (part-time)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Challenge-trg Recruitment is looking for part time cleaners to work at the local hospital in Cwmbran area.

Work requirements:

Carrying out cleaning tasks of clinical and non-clinical areas using appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and cleaning products, to the method and frequencies required.

Cleaning of all types of floor surfaces Cleaning of all furniture, fixtures and fittings, wall surfaces and doors.

Collect waste for disposal; replace waste bags & clean waste bins.

Replenish disposable items - toilet paper, hand towels, paper rolls and soap.

Clean wash hand basins, showers, baths, toilets, urinals and fittings.

Clean dispensers and holders, internally and externally.

Provide a support service to the kitchen (cold food prep and cleaning)

Provide a patients meal service at ward level via the mobile bulk trolley service.

Candidates will also be expected to undertake various duties in a kitchen including cleaning and covering pot wash area.

Wear clean and protective clothing and personal protective equipment in accordance with food safety and health & safety policies

Undertakes additional duties as required by their supervisor in line with capabilities.

Candidates must be able to follow morning shift rota and be available to work every other weekend.

Available shifts: 09:00- 14:30 alternating 3 and 5 shifts per week (15 and 25 hours per week).

Pay rates: £10.78 p / hour up to £19.72 (weekends OT rate)

Experience will be an advantage!
