Junior Designer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Caterkwik Ltd are looking for a Junior Solidworks Designer to join our growing team.

Solidworks Experience is ESSENTIAL.

Duties will include:

• Perform general fabrication drawings using Solidworks.
• Perform bespoke fabricaiton drawings using Solidworks.
• Liaise with our Logisitcs Department for Order Processing.
• Product Development.

The Person

- Basic Knowldege of Solidworks is essential. Training on our products and Machinery will be given.

- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

- Previous Sheet Metal / Fabrication Experience would be a bouns.

- The ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible “can do” attitude to work and good work ethic is essential.

- Must have the ability to undertake manual handling duties.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Ulverston Office (8:30am – 5pm 5 days a week)

We also offer apprentice opportunities with a 1 day per week college attendance.

Salary: £10.00-£15.00 per hour dependant on experience
