Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our food is a major part of the service we offer to our 30 residents, and we are proud of its quality.

Prepared fresh on-site each day, our meals contribute to our client's feeling of health and well-being.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and organized individual with great attention to detail to join our small catering team

Duties:

• Prepare, cook, and present excellent food in accordance with the menu and the requirements of our customers.
• Always adhere to safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain the high levels of cleanliness expected in a five-star rated kitchen.
• Order and manage stock.

Experience/Qualities/Skills:

• Experience of working in a care home kitchen environment
• Qualified to a minimum of level 2 in hospitality/catering or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and working relationship skills.
• The ability to carry out effective shift handovers.
• Competent in completing essential paperwork relevant to health and safety.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• cooking: 2 years (preferred)
• in a care home or nursing home: 1 year (required)
