General Farm Worker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

C H Cole and Sons is a professional, family run agri-business. We have been farming in south Essex for 6 generations. The business comprises several farms totalling around 7000 acres, all with modern agricultural machinery. Jobs within the enterprise are varied and applicants can expect to learn a number of useful skills.

The Role:

Great opportunity for a keen agricultural enthusiast to join our team. The job will entail a large variety of tasks including being an important part of the potato planting team, irrigation work, helping out with the upcoming harvest (both potato and combinable crops) and other general farm work.

Personal requirements:

Should have previous experience with farm work and tractors, workshop skills including welding, have the ability and confidence to learn new things, have a dedicated attitude to work and be willing to work long hours during busy periods. Fork lift/telehandler licence would be an advantage but not a necessity. Training will be provided where required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Work Location: One location
