Role Overview & Responsibilities

Buttercups Tearoom is set in a rural location in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside one mile outside of the village of Billesdon. We serve traditional breakfasts, light lunches, afternoon teas, and homemade cakes.

We have a vacancy for a part time restaurant assistant to join our team. Approximately 18 - 20 hours a week. Applicants should be able to offer a flexible approach to working days and times and be available to work during school holidays and bank holidays. Previous experience is preferred but not essential.

The ideal candidate will:

• have previous experience of working in a cafe/restaurant environment
• have a friendly personality with excellent customer service skills
• be professional and well-presented
• have the ability to work well as part of team

The Role

• Operate the till
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and in a friendly manner
• General housekeeping of the till area, tearoom and toilets
• Operate the dishwasher
• Assist with food preparation

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18 - 20 per week

Salary: £10.42 per hour
