Cash and Banking Assistant - 9 month FTC

Bristol - 2 days in the office/ Hybrid working

This role would be a great opportunity for someone coming from practice, looking to gain more experience in Finance

The Role

• Accurately post all transactions within the company bank accounts
  
  • Oversee and monitor supply and delivery of paying in books across the estate
  • Carry out nominated bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Carry out banking relevant to the support centre
  • To escalate issues as required to the Cash and Banking Team Leader
  • To work cross functionally with all departments to ensure all bank postings are posted correctly and to the relevant cost or income account
  • To assist with the processing of employee expenses and the clinical team invoices
  • To maintain accurate records for audit purposes and assist with internal and external audit processes where required
  • Complete and obtain the appropriate approval for all bank correspondence and instructions
  • Carry out reconciliations of banking deposits against the company’s cash management system and resolve or escalate any discrepancies
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required

Skills/experience

• Good communication skills
• Demonstrable experience of high volume data entry
• Computer literate particularly Excel
• Experience with bank reconciliations
• Working to strict deadline
• Prioritisation and time management
• Good attention to detail
• Experience with CODA would be desirable but not essential
