Hygiene Operatives (Food Manufacturing)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Brownings the Bakers, are looking for Hygiene Operatives to work in our award winning bakery and pie factory, that is based in Kilmarnock

Positions operate on a 4 on 4 off, rolling working pattern of 4 x 11 hour shift

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Primary purpose: to ensure that the factory is deep cleaned, exceeding current food hygiene standards
• You will deliver the highest standards of cleaning throughout the site in accordance with company, customer and legal requirements
• Maintain appropriate in-house cleaning
• To clean food processing equipment and food production lines
• Clean food production utensils and baskets
• Remove and empty all waste units
• Accurately complete all cleaning documentation

Skills and Competencies

• Experience gained in a similar role within food manufacturing would be advantageous but is not essential as training is provided
• Ability to work to the highest Health and Safety Regulations
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment essential
• This is a physically demanding role with long periods of standing during shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.42 per hour
