Role Overview & Responsibilities
About the role:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant. As a Customer Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive excellent service, resolving any issues they may have, and assisting them in their shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs
- Assisting customers with their queries and resolving any issues they may have
- Operating the tills and handling cash/credit card payments accurately
- Replenishing stock and ensuring the shop floor is tidy and well-presented
- Providing information on products and services
- Processing customer orders and deliveries
- Conducting inventory checks and managing stock levels
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant customer service experience preferred
