Job title: Facilities Assistant
Location: Blair Drummond Safari & Adventure Park, FK9 4UR
Salary: £9.20 p/h - £11.68 p/h (based on age)

Working hours: Flexible hours/days over 7 days a week.

Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park was opened to the public in 1970 and was, at the time, one of Britain’s first safari parks. With over 400,000 visitors a year, we are now one of the most popular visitor attractions in Scotland and offer a world-class visitor experience that is exciting, educational and fun.
The day-to-day duties
Facilities Assistants must be hardworking, observant, enthusiastic and confident. They are responsible for the high standard of presentation that is always expected throughout the park
Duties will include:
· Litter picking throughout the park.
· Grass cutting, weeding and sweeping and/or leaf blowing.
· Cleaning of staff and visitor facilities including toilets, changing facilities, events spaces and staff rooms/offices.
· Emptying bins and removing waste from departments for recycling.
· Operating the entrance gates of the animal reserves and supervising vehicles as they pass through the Drive Thru sections.
· Lighting BBQ’s for visitors and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the undercover picnic areas.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications required:
· Experience in Facilities Maintenance is desired but not essential.
· Ability to work on your own or as part of a team outside in all weather.
· Experience of working with the general public in a customer facing role.
· A full clean driving licence would be an advantage but is not essential.

- Cleaning & Grounds Maintenance Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
