Duties as a General Worker will include any of the following:

• 
  Candidates should have extensive experience as a General Worker/Operative within a Petro-Chem/ Piping Fabrication/Oil and Gas environment.

• Assist tradesmen of all disciplines including mechanical, piping & electrical.

• Ability to work un-supervised.

• Load, unload, identify materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans.

• Abiltiy to use overcranes, once training as been given (Pendant trained).

• Basic slinger and rigging for basic lifts

• Assist when required with the General Consumables and Welding stores and prepare consumables requisition and issue consumables when required

• Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner.

• Maintain a tidy workplace & work in-line with company procedures and safety standards

• Experience with Counterbalance & Side-loader forklifts and have the relevant certification for the plant being operated.
