Production Planner

Bernard Matthews Derby – DE23 8NT

3 on 3 off 6am - 6pm

£24,000 - £31,000

Key Responsibilities

· Issuing and analysing daily production plans (generated in Excel)

· Receiving orders and updating forecasts

· Ensuring site orders are within site capacity and forecast

· Working closely with Despatch department to ensure stock matches expectations

· Daily reviewing the forecast to ensure everything is in line

· Maintaining relationships with commercials to ensure orders are in line with site deliveries

· Updating daily plans in FOPS (internal system)

· Running regular reports

· Achieving planning KPI’s

· Ensuring communication is maintained throughout all departments across site

· Regular investigation in to minimising waste

· Ensuring plans are in line with material availability

· Flexibility to cover other planners during holiday periods

· Working closely with customers and ensuring orders are updated/amended in line with their requests.

Person Requirements

· Exceptional communication skills

· Strong Excel skills are essential

· Ability to influence others

· Ideally has experience within an FMCG company (not essential)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
