Machine Minder- Food Production

Shifts:

3 on 3 off 6am – 6pm

(AM 6am – 2pm & PM 2.30pm – 10.30pm shifts available also)

Due to some exciting changes within our business, we have an urgent requirement for several Machine Minders to join our Team and run our busy lines. Our Machine Minders take care of all machine-specific functions such as configuring the equipment, loading and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability. They need to ensure that the machine works at its full capacity, oversee its maintenance, and perform timely quality checks. Due to this being a key role, this role is offered on a permanent basis.

What the Machine Minders will be doing:

· Monitoring equipment

· Maintaining a safe work environment

· Setting up machines so they are ready to use

· Following established rules and procedures

· Carrying out safety checks on the machinery

· Training new Machine Operator hires

· Remaining in challenging physical positions for long periods of time

Key traits for a Machine Minder:

· Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools

· Understanding of production procedures

· Adherence to health and safety regulations

· Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals

· Analytical skills

· Attention to detail

· Teamwork and communication skills

· Physical stamina and strength

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £10.30 per hour
