Role Overview & Responsibilities
· 1-3 years plus of credit analysis experience from either a corporate bank, ratings agency or accountancy firm?
· Knowledge of leveraged finance will be beneficial.
Leveraged Finance Credit Analyst
Global Corporate Investment Bank is going through a period of expansion due to an increase in trading activity. Our client, based in their London office, is looking to add a Leveraged Finance Credit Analyst to the Credit Team.
Leveraged Finance Credit Analyst:
- Review credit submissions from Front Office providing recommendations to Approvers.
- A second line of defence role providing credit risk management / oversight of new leveraged finance transactions and the existing leveraged finance portfolio across EMEA.
- Risk assessment of new leverage finance transactions and management of a portfolio of leverage credits including Special Credits.
- Working as a trusted partner with the Front Office deal teams.
- Articulate CD risk perception and appetite for a transaction.
- Collaborate with other risk and compliance functions.
- Express well-reasoned arguments and influence senior management.
- Assist in recruitment and training of more junior staff.
