Plumber - Construction & Maintenance - Hull - £30,878 - £32,975 + Bonuses

Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a major Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area who operate as one of the leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors. They are presently employing around 500 people and have a turnover of £50m and they have some ambitious plans in place to grow this again over the coming years.

Job Description

As a Plumber you will be required to work on our responsive and maintenance areas, completing routine and emergency repairs in Void and tenanted properties

Purpose of the Role

• To deliver Plumbing work to responsive and routine maintenance repairs
• To discuss issues directly on site with customers to determine exact requirements
• Carry out work to specifications, drawing and work sheets
• Undertake Plumbing work in numerous locations on each day with minimal supervision
• To participate as part of the companies out of hours call out team
• To act as a mentor within the workplace for apprentices
• Accurately complete all relevant internal and external paperwork
• To drive company vehicles responsibly

Qualifications & Skills

• Time Served OR City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 Plumbing (Preferred not Essential)
• Own Tools
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must be Clean Shaven
