Takeaway and Restaurant Servers

Bamboo Thai Restaurant and Takeaway are looking for part time serving staff to work at our premises on Hull Road, York.

Specifically we are looking for someone with good telephone manor to take customer orders over the phone as well as serving customers in person and packing food for takeaways.

This role suits someone who is chatty and confident when meeting lots of new people and building relationships with our regular customers. Good numeracy skills are also required. Previous experience serving in either restaurants or takeaways is required.

We are a family owned business and provide a friendly work environment although it can get very busy at times and candidates will need to be able to think fast on their feet and deal with pressure at busy times.

We feel it is a rewarding place to work and have had staff members stay with us for several years.

We offer pay dependent on experience and performance and review staff pay and increase if staff members are exceeding expectations. All staff get a half price meal if they wish to take away after each shift.

We are flexible with number of hours but will request employees to work Friday and Saturday evenings most weeks.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

Salary: £8.50-£10.50 per hour
