Teaching Assistant SEN needed urgently in the Sandwell area to start working ASAP!

Due to a high demand of Teaching Assistants needed in SEN schools in Sandwell, Balfor Education are looking for motivated, passionate and pro-active people who want the opportunity to work in a school environment.

The job:

• You will be working with students with special needs so some experience, even personal. Preferably with: SLD, ASD, and Complex LD
• You will be supporting children on a group basis in the classroom, as well as providing 1-2-1 support when needed
• You will need to be able to provide personal care to young children when needed
• You will need a passion and willingness to learn
• You will need to be able to create a strong and supportive relationship with children
• You will have a clear enhanced child and adult DBS or be willing to pay to have one processed through Balfor.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Salary: £70.00-£90.00 per day

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sandwell, West Midlands: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Special needs: 1 year (preferred)
