Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Description

We are looking for someone to join our plant production team.

Tasks will include a mix of the following:

• Moving stock.
• Processing incoming deliveries.
• Facing up stock in sales areas.
• Plant husbandry; cutting back stock, spacing, potting, winter cleaning.
• Helping with stock control.
• Other nursery maintainence and plant production task as required

Remuneration will be discussed based on experience, but it is competitive. Longer standing members of staff have the potential of a percentage of the turnover of the business, though this is discretionary dependant on performance.

Why You?

The ideal candidate…

• Will be good at taking responsibility and showing initiative.
• Should have a passion for plants.
• Previous experience of working on a nursery would be desirable but is not essential.
• Will be able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Will be able to load and push plant trollies and move plants around the site.
• Have a full clean driving licence.
• Be able to provide references on request.
• To be on the upper end of the remuneration you should have good plant knowledge and have worked in a plant nursery or garden centre.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.00-£14.00 per hour
