Role Overview & Responsibilities

Aztec Oils is one of the UK’s leading specialists in high performance lubricant manufacture and distribution. We are currently recruiting for a Accounts Assistant to work from our branch in Bolsover, Derbyshire.

This would be a Permanent role for the right Candidate and an opportunity to be part of an exciting team. The Business is fast paced and has been growing year on year creating new roles within the group.

Benefits:

• Salary – 28,000 to 30,000

Working within accounts team this role would deal in all aspect of finance, including cover for Assistant Finance Accountant.

Main Responsibilities or a good knowledge of:

• Payments and Receipts, Sales, and Purchase Ledgers processing
• Preparation of Month end Management Accounts- General Ledger reconciliations including prepayments and accruals
• Fixed Asset Register
• Bank Reconciliation
• VAT Returns
• Preparation of year end accounts
• General Administration and Reporting
• Excellent IT skills would be a valuable advantage
• Understanding of intercompany including full reconciliations
• Understanding of multi-currency

Experience Needed:

• Experience within an accounts department
• Excellent organisation skills, with strong attention to detail
• The ability and motivation to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly computer literate
• AAT Qualified or training towards would be an advantage
• Experience in management accounts
• Sage 200 an advantage but not essential
