Delivery Drivers Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Based in Newry, Ax Board is one of Irelands' leading manufacturers of kitchen and bedroom units. We deliver to our customers throughout Ireland on a daily basis.

We are currently seeking a Drivers' Assistant whose duties will include:-

Assist with daily loading of delivery vehicles; travelling with the driver to each delivery destination; assist with the off-loading at the customers' premises; assist with the protective wrapping of kitchen/bedroom orders prior to despatch; assist with general duties in the factory as required.

Applicants must be physically fit and able to lift kitchen cabinet.

As the role involves nationwide travel, some early starts/late finishes are necessary.

A full Class B clean driving licence would be an advantage but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £10.50 per hour
